What a great day at Chelsea Flower Show 2023!
I had a very exciting opportunity to help man the FOBBS (Federation of British Bonsai Societies) display of wonderful bonsai collected from all over the country. And 'we' won a gold medal! My contribution was the moss on one of the pots - so in some small way I was a winner too!
I really enjoyed speaking to loads of people who were admiring the trees. There was a lot of interest especially in starting this beautiful creative art. Although there were many requests to buy these trees, many people agreed that creating your own bonsai is more rewarding than buying one.
